Baseball 101

I figured this would be a good video for anyone who does not know the amazing American past-time that is ...... Baseball , very well

Al West Standings - July 3rd

1st Place
The Texas Rangers are in first place currently in the Al West they are one game ahead of the angels with a record of  44 - 40

The Rangers have been up and down in their past seven games with a record of  3 - 4

And after last nights loss to the marlins could they lose their spot at the top of their division after their final game of a 3 game series tonight against the marlins ? Tell me your thoughts

2nd Place
The Anaheim Angels are in second place and one game back from the Texas Rangers with a record of 43 - 41.

The Angels are looking strong and want to retake the position of division leader. In their last 10 games the angels are 7 - 3. The angels bullpen is looking stronger with Jared weaver improving to 4-0 in his last 8 starts , Anaheim's offense is looking strong as well . Could we see a new division leader within the next few games ? You tell me.

3rd Place
The Seattle Mariners are four games back from leading their division with a record of 40 - 43.

The Seattle Mariners were looking prospective a month ago but have recently hit a slump and have let their offense go once again. In their last 10 games the Mariners are 3 - 7. Although the Mariners offense has hit a recent slump their pitching is still looking strong with a diverse lineup of strong pitchers. Will the Mariners be able to get their offense where it needs to be ?

4th Place
The Oakland Athletics are a lengthy seven games back from the top spot in the AL West with a record of 37 - 47.

The Athletics have not been able to keep it together this season . Whether its offense or defense the Athletics are lacking in all fields and need to do something drastic if they want to turn there season around . In their last 10 games the Oakland Athletics are 3 - 7. What do you think Oakland is doing wrong ? What do they need to do differently ?
